Take time to pamper yourself

I had my very first pedicure on Saturday. I also got in a little female bonding time with my girls Kelly, Danielle, and Dona. I should have gotten pictures of everyone's toes (they were all so beautiful), but I didn't have my nifty new camera at the time. Anyway...aren't my toes pretty?!?!
Can I just say...I am sold on pedicures. Even more so, I realized how important it is to take time to pamper yourself once in a while. Whether it be a pedicure or a vacation...DO IT!! No more saying tomorrow, or when I have more time, or maybe when I get my bonus. Allow yourself to love and be loved. Allow yourself to not only dream, but to believe in your dreams and to know that whatever they may be...they MAY BE! I don't know why it is so difficult for people these days to let go and just GO! Go to Hawaii if that is where you want to be. Or do what my parents finally did...Go on a road trip across the Great U.S. of A! See the beauty, take in the sights and sounds of different towns along the way. Don't worry about watching what you eat while you are gone and just relax! So who cares if you gain a few pounds?!?! You were able to eat a beautiful traditional Hawaiian meal or good ol' down home country cookin' like only my Aunt Freda can make. I mean honestly, where do your best and longest lasting memories happen? While sitting at your desk at work? I think not!! GO and DO!! Take time to pamper yourself!!

Bloggin'

So, here I am...trying to get on board with the whole blogging frenzy. Some people are so good at this. Me...I guess we shall see. I have tried in the past, but didn't really get the hang of it. I mean...what do I have to say that is of any interest to anyone? For today, I will just leave you with this thought:

"Come what may, and love it." ~Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
